Description:

COMHEATER has specifically designed and engineered insulated band ceramic heater to meet the ever increasing demand for energy (power) conservation and improving heating operation efficiently. These heaters are capable of generating higher operating temperatures up to 500 °c.
 

Working Principle:

These are ceramic insulated band heaters, it’s superior designed is to save the power it is constructed with 1” thick cerawool insulating blanket from the outer surface increasing the overall diameter by 2” . It reduces power consumption up to 30% . The external surface temperature of the insulated ceramic band heater is approx 80°c while running inside surface temperature is 300 °c . First is the heaters built in insulation & second is the cerawool insulation the heat transfer in the ceramic heater is by convection and radiation. The heat dissipation from the heaters will be prevented by it’s insulation on the outer surface. This process of heat exchange will make a uniform layer of heat all over the barrel resulting into swift development of temperature. There will be quick response to temperature controller & it will have more off cycles at maintained set temperature resulting in saving of electric power.
